Nelson Mandela University is a new-generation university, with campuses situated in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Its mission is to offer a diverse range of quality educational opportunities that will make a critical and constructive contribution to regional, national and global sustainability.

On 20 July 2017, the institution formally launched its new name and identity – becoming the only university in the world to be named after global icon Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela University Business School is global in its vision. African in its identity. Recognised for its leadership in producing cutting-edge knowledge for a sustainable future. Focused on economic, social and environmental sustainability, the Nelson Mandela University Business School imparts skills to individuals to be able to manage across diverse socioeconomic, cultural and regulative contexts. The Business School leads the change by drawing on the unique strengths of the new comprehensive university paradigm. The delivery methodology utilised by the Business School includes traditional face to face contact sessions and from March 2019, fully online programmes will be a new mode of delivery.
