About the course
The Diploma in Sound Engineering aims to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform effectively in the Sound Engineering industry. The Diploma in Sound Engineering also aims to further improve and enhance students’ knowledge, and the practical skills required to perform effectively in the Sound Engineering industry. The purpose of the qualification is to provide students with the relevant academic exposure, practical skills and professional attitudes appropriate to this market area.
On successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to seek careers in Music Production and Arrangement, Live Sound Engineering, or Audio Post-Production for Video. Graduates will have the competencies necessary to perform industry-related audio recording, editing and processing, as well as specialising in Foley Recording and Final Mixing and Editing, Band Recording and Mixing, and Digital Music Production.
